Books - Reviews and Recommendations |
On this and the next pages we will introduce you to books that in my opinion are valuable assests to work with or learn from. In most cases I have the book myself so I can give you a pretty good idea about the value of the book.
Why is this the #1 photography text year after year? Because no other source teaches students the skills they need to use the medium confidently and effectively, emphasizing both technique and visual awareness.
Synopsis
Updated for Adobe Photoshop CS3 and the latest other developments in digital capture techniques, this "photocourse in a book" offers every student and learner of photography an excellent visual insight into the magic of photography. A total photocourse in a book - absolutely practical!
Author(s)
Barbara London, Jim stone and John Upton have all specialised in their own fields and contribute from their perspectives.Over the nine editions they have collaborated sofar, they have managed to blend their talents seamlessly together to offer a feast of knowledge in words and very illustrative images.
